My recent project using Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Stain in the Silver Birch Colour to transform my old weathered decking. • The decking wood had been stained with light brown and neutral oils and stains in the past (the deck was made with reclaimed boards) and so had a patchy and stained look to it. I was looking for a stain that would cover well and brighten it up so I chose a different colour entirely (Cuprinol Silver Birch). On the tin it looked quite dark grey but when applied it looks much lighter which I actually prefer. • I used a brush to apply the paint since I find it makes it easier to cover the rough and uneven parts of the wood. In total I used about 2 and a half cans of paint (about 6-7 litres). • ------------------------- • Products I used when making this video: • These are paid affiliate links.
