Tenet Flux Rifle Build 2021 (Guide) - The New Slash King (Warframe Gameplay) • When I first heard that the Tenet version of the Flux Rifle was not going to be a beam weapon, I was pretty bummed. Thankfully, it turned out to be a full blown monster! • The Tenet Flux Rifle is a Hitscan weapon with an automatic trigger, a big one hundred and twenty magazine, great fire rate and fast reload. Basically, all the makings of a powerful assault rifle. What it has extra over the regular version is the increased critical chance to twenty percent which allows us to leverage everybody's favorite MuMu, Hunter Munitions. This way the weapon can get slashes from the Status Chance as well as from critical strikes. Throw in the Flux Overdrive mode which currently offers four hundred percent status chance and things get pretty crazy pretty quick. This is obviously a bug and I'd expect the Fun Police to nerf it quickly. But until then, enjoy! • Considering the multitude of powerful primary mods we have at our disposal it's crucial to go with the right progenitor. I recommend Saryn or any other Toxin progenitor. This way you can make viral with a single status mod. It's also recommended to not max out this mod so Slash gets a higher proc priority. While you may lose some status chance and a bit of damage, the shift in proc priority more than makes up for it. • Riven mods are a no go for the most part. Riven disposition is very low and there are plenty of mods to use on the weapon. Unless we get a higher disposition I'd forget about riven mods. • Galvanized mods are hit and miss on the weapon. While Galvanized Scope is simply put, bad on the weapon, Galvanized Chamber is a must have. Galvanized Aptitude would be great as-well but there's simply not enough room on the build for it. • Weapon Exilus slot does not need unlocking but the Arcane Slot can prove a great benefit through the use of Primary Merciless or Dexterity. I would forgot about Deadhead due to the headshot kill trigger. At the very least you don't lose all your stacks of Deadhead when the timer runs out like you do with Galvanized Scope so it's not completely terrible. • Problem with these two is the trigger. Since the very large majority of your targets will be taken down by procs and not direct hits. • One addendum. I accidentally cut the bit about Galvanized Aptitude with one of my blunders. • At the time of recording Galvanized Aptitude DID NOT function correctly on the Tenet Flux Rifle and did not provide the correct damage benefit which is why it was not in any of the final builds. • Normally, this is a Best in slot mod as long as you can keep up 2x stacks. With the Tenent Flux Rifle you will mostly always have 3 status types up. Slash, Puncture and Viral which will results in 240% damage from GA. It will not be as powerful initially as some front-loaded damage like Serration but as long as you keep the stacks up and have the procs on the target it will be a lot more powerful. • This means that (after it's fixed) it should be used on very high level targets (2000-5000 etc) that don't get melted in a few seconds. For sensible level content (up until 1000 or so) I'd still go for some front loaded, unconditional damage. • In the Builds I presented Galvanized Aptitude would take the option slot in the standard build and replace the Riven in the Riven setup or Amalgam Serration or even Flux Overdrive post-nerf. • You should also note that at the current time these Galvanized mods are a bit on the buggy side, especially Aptitude, Savvy and Shot. They seem to semi-work with Hitscan weapons and not at all with projectile based attacks. • Something that I forgot to mention: • You can try and get a low roll toxin to help with the proc priority but beef the SC through the use of a full 60-60%. • That would mean acquiring a new weapon and getting a super low roll which is more difficult than getting a high one. This is because you can't lower the damage of your weapon through Valence Fusion, only increase it. So getting the EXACT right weapon with a 25% toxin roll can be quite the farm. • Overall, The Tenet Flux Rifle is one of the most powerful Single Target primary weapons we have at the moment. This will change when Flux Overdrive will be nerfed but it will still remain a force to be reckon with.
