Using the Merkur 34c HD as my daily razor with a Gillette Silver blue DE razor blade was a satisfying experience with no ingrown hairs or skin irritation whatsoever. This could be the best razor blade that you can buy that will clean up your face from pimples, ingrown hairs, razor bumps and razor burn. There’s no question that a safety razor is more efficient than a cartridge or disposable razor and will cost you less as well in the long run. I wish I would’ve started using a safety razor when I was a teenager with a ton of acne on my face. Even now, at my age my face looks better using this method over a disposable razor. I have sensitive skin and my neck hair is out-of-control. Meaning, there is so much growth that a disposable razor will hack its way through the hair “Like a Weed-whacker” if you know what I mean. Just pulling the hairs right out of my neck and causing razor burn and ultimately inground hairs that would turn into a pimple on my neck. How embarrassing. I would have to squeeze that pimple and a hair would come out with about four or five of them stuck together, meaning a ingrown hair. My skin is not the greatest to begin with and now a razor is causing ingrown hairs/pimples on my face, I needed to find a better way or a better razor blade to shave my face. I found it with a safety razor my face is cleaner than it’s ever been in my entire life. I don’t half ingrown hairs and razor burn after I shave and my family and friends have noticed a difference and ask me what I am doing different. It’s all Credit to the safety razor I’m using. Don’t be afraid. • https://www.buymeacoffee.com/ohioshaves • Amazon affiliate links: • Merkur 34c HD • https://amzn.to/3pE3QCa • Gillette silver blue blades • https://amzn.to/32Mn2oB • Feather blades • https://amzn.to/3z9OHvp • Simpson synthetic knot T3 • https://amzn.to/3EJR2hW • Gillette platinum blades • https://amzn.to/3eACSFa • Nivea aftershave balm • https://amzn.to/346EDb8 • Creed Aventus • https://amzn.to/3FY7LPT • Gillette Fusion blades • https://amzn.to/3FXTWB5 • Bic Flex 5 • https://amzn.to/3n62I8o • #gillette #merkur34c #merkur34chd #safetyrazor #shaving #bestsafetyrazor #gillettesilverblue #stirlingsoapcompany #kensurfs #geofatboy #asmr #elliotforbes #wetshaving #derazor #howtoshave • Both safety razors and cartridge razors can be used for wet shave. However, there are pros and cons to each. People are familiar with the myth from commercials: 5-fold blades shave more thoroughly! However, is that true at all? Skin irritation from shaving causes discomfort. You can find out where they come from our guide below. • The redness and irritation of the skin after shaving is commonly known as razor burn or razor bumps. The burning and itchy skin irritations are caused by the removal of the upper skin layers during shaving. The injured skin is no longer able to defend itself against harmful influences and becomes sore. By using a cartridge razor, you support this harmful behavior. With every stroke of the multiple blades of a system razor, you also stress your skin tremendously. That’s a quick way to guarantee painful razor burn! That is precisely where the safety razor begins to shine: The safety razor works with a single, very sharp blade. So you only stress your skin once with each pull and not several times. So even if you conduct a shave with the grain or against and across the grain, your skin will still be less stressed than with a single stroke of your cartridge razor. This way, you protect your skin and avoid razor bumps. • Ingrown hair and pimples can have many causes. An infection of the hair follicle is often caused by shaving. To avoid this, you should make sure that you prepare and follow up your shave well. However, your choice of razor is the main factor in all of this. The spaces between the blades of your cartridge razor are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Every time you shave, you increase the risk of a skin infection caused by your cartridge razor. In addition, cartridge blades are often used for several weeks for cost reasons – this exposes you and your skin to an even higher risk of skin irritation. All these problems can easily be avoided with a safety razor. The quick blade change ensures that you always work with a new and hygienic razor blade. Moreover, the fact that you can let the sharp blade glide over your skin entirely without pressure makes it particularly kind to your sensitive skin. • You can find the glide strip on your cartridge razor above the blades. Its job is to prepare your skin for the relentless maltreatment with the blade cartridge. To fulfill this task, manufacturers often use so-called PEG derivatives. These polyethylene glycols can irritate the skin and impair its protective effect. This results in redness and irritation. With a safety razor, you don’t have to worry about such chemicals. The sharp blade doesn’t need a glide strip to achieve an excellent shaving result. Natural and completely chemical-free.
