Goodbye Sophia aka Violet Flowergarden

I’ve thought about what I wanted to write in this post all night. I haven’t made a youtube video in years, or been active on Star Stable. • For those who remember, or maybe don’t know, Sophia, aka Pinky and I were best friends when we were teenagers. I remember when we first met and realized we both competed in hunter jumpers, and then we met up in person at the Equine Affaire. That shortly led to a long friendship of late night calls, making youtube videos together, and trying to visit each other whenever we could. Pinky ended up getting one of our beautiful Havanese puppies, Toby, and she would bring him back to my house when she came to visit. I remember our movie nights, going to the beach, shopping trips, and filming everything we absolutely could. I am so grateful that we took so many videos together, as I now have so many memories to look back on. • • Sophia was such a wonderful friend during a very hard part of my life. I started having health problems shortly after we met, and she was there before I even got my now retired service dog Maggie. I remember all of our trips to Rolex, and making our youtube channel together when she had her horse Lola. I remember both of us crying when we had to leave and making plans to see each other asap. • When I found out Sophia passed away, I almost couldn’t believe it. With school and life, we hadn’t talked recently and I wish I could go back and change it. Anyone who knows Pinky would know that she loved making youtube videos, and was always editing. For me, making videos has never been about the views or subscribers, but a way to express myself. This is how I cope and how I grieve. I wanted to create a video of all of my favorite memories of us together that I could look back on. • Sophia, thank you for being one of my best friends in my life. I can’t imagine what my life would have been like without you in it. I hope you are at peace in heaven with Lola and Pumpkin. • Pinky left a huge impact on the Star Stable community, and will be greatly missed. She inspired so many, and had so many great friends. • To her family and dear friends, I’m so extremely sorry.
