Prahlada was the song of Hiranyakashipu an egoistic Asura. Nevertheless by the blessing of sage Narada, Prahlada grew to be a child full of virtues. Prahlada was a Gnani who learnt to see God in all. Once when his father c questioned his wisdom, he fearlessly spoke the truth about the Lord. Tainted with pride of ego, Hiranyakashipu tried to kill Prahlada, his own child, but in vain. The Lord protected in all ways possible. Finally questioned the existence of the Lord, Hiranyakashipu stuck a pillar and Ho!.. From the very same pillar Lord Narasimha appeared. This avatar of Lord Vishnu killed Hiranyakashipu and re-established dharma. Victory be to Lord Narasimha.
