I should add that a true pickpocket artist does not work in the style in which we showed here. The REASON we had to be a little more obvious and suspicious was to get people to notice. We filmed for two days in multiple locations and the ratio of reactions vs doing something vs ignoring was consistently the same. Half of people saw nothing (even with us trying to be somewhat obvious).
