How I emptied and moved my Biogas digester

Sometime your biogas digester is not in the right place, but when they are full they are almost impossible to move. As I have been building the current location of my digester is not ideal so in this video I empty the digester so I can move it to its new home. My digester does not have a drain valve so I experiment with a few ways to remove the digestate. • I also give my biogas digester its first feed of the summer using kitchen scraps and my food waste disposal.
