Nocturnal birds do their thing. Nightjars' eerie churring is best heard starting at 2:15 in the video where we were agonisingly close! (unfortunately, despite getting a couple of brief sightings, I failed to film any, just got the sound). I did however manage to get a couple of roding woodcock on film, at 0:26, 1:36 and 2:01. Plus a cameo appearance from a family of owls at both at 1:03 and right at the end (3:28 onwards), as well as a beautiful thrush song at 0:40 :). Hope you enjoy! • Note due to my video camera making an awful hum, the sounds are obscured a bit, may need to turn speakers up a bit! • Filmed over the RIAT weekend, 7-10th July 2012.
