Pilatus PC24 Visit to The Vale Tasmania 26 Jan 2021

This was the first time that a Jet aircraft has ever landed at The Vale (http://www.thevale.com.au). • This amazing aircraft is a Pilatus PC24 Super Versatile Jet - one of the few jet aircraft designed for, and capable of, operating from grass/unimproved runways. • Pilatus Australia generously brought this aircraft in for the 2021 Australia Day Fly-In at The Vale. • What a superb spectacle, to see this remarkable aircraft land and take off on the grass here in North-West Tasmania. • Thanks to Steve Byrnes, the pilot of the aircraft, and to Pilatus Australia for making it possible to have this aircraft visit our property. • Thanks to Catherine Conway and Anna Hackett for the video footage. • This charity fly-in event was arranged by, and made possible by, the generous efforts of many volunteers from the Devonport Aero Club. • Special thanks to the many visiting pilots and friends who flew in to join us at The Vale today ... on a truly spectacular day.
