My visit to Berlin in December 1989, barely a month after the wall had opened. • Included in the footage are trams and the U-Bahn in both halves of the city, plus S-Bahn in the west, the Berlin Wall, some 'ghost' stations where West Berlin trains travelled through the east without stopping, duty free shopping on the western platforms at Friedrichstrasse station, and more... • Filmed on silent super 8 film, a few still images and with added copyright-free music. • Apologies, some footage is not framed as well as it could have been. • Copyright free background music: Ludwig van Beethoven • Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67 - III. Allegro • Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67 - IV. Allegro • http://musopen.org/music/113/ludwig-v... • The source of this music is musopen.org who supply copyright-free public domain scores and recordings of music by many classical composers. • However people intending to use this music in their own productions need to be aware that YouTube often file copyright violations - despite the music being copyright-free. • See here... • https://musopen.org/about/ • Musopen (www.musopen.org) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on improving access and exposure to music by creating free resources and educational materials.
