The MSC will offer a platform for high-level debates on the key foreign and security policy challenges of our time. • US Vice President JD Vance attends as part of his first foreign trip in post. He will be accompanied by US Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio. Vance is scheduled to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the conference that is expected to mainly focus on peace talks between Kyiv and Moscow. • President Donald Trump told reporters on Thursday, US officials will also meet Russian counterparts at the Munich conference. There were no further details about said meetings. • German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier opens the conference.
