My GE Profile wall oven was shutting off due to moisture gathering in the control panel. I worked with Appliance Pros and they helped me to narrow down the parts that I may need. The video is a start to finish account of the process of working through the removal of the oven from the wall, diagnosing which part was bad, making the repair, and reinstalling the oven. I intentionally included the full start to finish process as I learned some things in the process of doing this repair and I think it is helpful for folks to see the exploratory nature of doing home repairs. Sometimes, ya just gotta figure it out as you go! • • I'm not an expert on appliance repair, but I do have a background in working with electricity. I worked with the folks at Appliance Parts Pros to diagnose and figure out what parts I needed. Happy to share my successful repair process with you. When in doubt or if you do not feel comfortable working with electricity, hire a pro. If you feel comfortable and have a basic knowledge of working with electricity and the tools, you can do this. My advice if you decide to try it: Work with a qualified professional or company to figure out which parts you need. • • A few links for you... (Note: I am not sponsored by any of these retailers.
