Start learning cybersecurity with CBT Nuggets. https://courses.cbt.gg/security • In this video, Keith Barker covers ASA connection profiles. Whether originating from clientless SSL or a full client solution, when traffic hits an ASA, connection profiles help it decide what to do to authenticate and forward a user. Keith shows how to set them up correctly. • If you've got a user from the internet trying to access a corporate server, the request (hopefully) won't be coming through in straight text, and it'll need to be processed on its way into the VPN tunnel. There are three popular remote access VPN solutions the client might start from, and those change the equation. A clientless SSL VPN doesn't need admin rights on the originating box, a full AnyConnect tunneled client does need software on the box, and an IPSec remote access can have multiple configurations. • See how to set up connection profiles so your ASA knows whether the request should get passed through an internal local database, handed off to a AAA server, or assigned an IP address during the trip through the VPN. • 🌐 Download the Free Ultimate Networking Cert Guide: https://blog.cbt.gg/r47m • ⬇️ 13-Week Study Plan: CCNA (200-301): https://blog.cbt.gg/iyic • • Start learning with CBT Nuggets: • • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Networking (70-741) | https://courses.cbt.gg/4fa • • Getting Started in IT | https://courses.cbt.gg/dmj • • Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Database Solutions (70-465) | https://courses.cbt.gg/vaa
