1969 Corvette 427/390hp For Sale • Code correct Fathom Green exterior, Black vinyl interior. Numbers matching 390hp 427ci engine, numbers matching M20 wide ratio 4 speed manual transmission, numbers matching 3.08 posi rear-end. Originally assembled on June 13, 1969, this 1969 Corvette 427/390hp coupe has been nicely restored, and is sure to turn heads before anyone even sees the car with the help of its side exhaust! Paint on this car is recent and very good, with a deep shine. All glass with the exception of the windshield shows a correct date code. Original interior trim code shows 420. Chrome bumpers have been recently rechromed, and show an excellent condition finish. Exterior door handles are also new, and excellent with strong return springs. Weatherstripping is new and in excellent condition, as are the taillights. This 1969 Corvette 427/390hp wears rally wheels in very good condition, with very good condition trim rings and center caps. Tires are recent Firestone Wide Oval Super Sport redline bias-ply reproductions, and show an average of 12/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this car shows new seat covers and foam in excellent condition, as well as new/excellent door panels and correct loop style carpet. Both the dash pad and center console are in good condition with no cracks. Gauges show some very minor fading with older lenses, and a Custom Auto Sound cassette stereo has been added in place of the original AM/FM unit. The numbers matching engine in this car shows casting date January 28, 1969, and final assembly date April 9, 1969. This engine has a correct intake manifold, as well as correct hoses, hose clamps, and ignition shielding. Engine compartment and frame have been nicely detailed.
