Jarabacoa is one of my favorite cities inn the Dominican Republic, and I was so happy to get to go back and visit after living there while teaching. We drove around the city (more driving tours to come) and then checked out the center of town, where there are a lot of new restaurants, and some more touristy spots for photos and coffee, ice cream and more. Jarabacoa is about. an hour from Santiago de los Caballeros, and is up in the beautiful mountains. It has gotten a bit more touristy over the years, and it was funny to see downtown so much more crowded. Of course, we had to stop at Helado Ivon while we were there.
