Recipe for a croustade, this is a very good dessert and a real eye catcher. It is not difficult to make, once you know how it is done. It is a french specialty from the south west of France. • Please like and subscribe - I am new here. • If you want more detailed instructions with subtitles in many languages, click on this link, go for subtitles and the settings: • Croustade - Apfel in Filo-Teig, Apfel... • For 2 croustades you need: • 1 generous apple, cox orange or boskop • 2 - 4 leaves of filo-, yufka- or baklava dough, depending on size • 1 generous appel, cox orange oder boskop • 80 - 100 g melted butter or rapeseed oil if you prefer • 2 table spoons sugar or to taste • 2 table spoons armagnac, cognac oder rum (can be skipped) • 1 tip of the knife cinnamon • 150 g very cold whipping cream (or ice cream, no whipping needed!) • 1/2 tea spoon honey • icing sugar for decoration • Have fun baking!
