A BRIEF HISTORY OF A SMALL WORLD • • • 'Small World' the band was formed late 2006. The pictures show the work done over a 2 month period of extensive rehearsal sessions. • • A 3 piece band comprising of 3 northern Chorley lads being Andi (lead vocals/guitar) Greggy (drums/vocals) and Steve (guitar/vocals) • • Throughout the years the members have worked with each other in various projects on the live music scene. • • In the period 2002-2005 Greggy and Andi formed the band 'Helico' performing original material around endless venues of the U.K promoting their debut album, playing such places as The Cavern, and Manchester's Life Bar. • • In the late 90's Steve and Andi formed an acoustic duo playing covers from the then current Brit Pop scene and popular songs from the 80's and 90's , then to reform the duo once again in early 2005 bringing the set list bang up to date. • • As the newly formed Small World they now perform well known songs with a twist..... • • Comprising of only two acoustic guitars and drums, Small World have created that full band sound. • • Playing up to date songs together with a few 80's and 90's classics and the odd oldie from bands such as Razorlight, The Kooks, Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Inxs and Crowded House, Small World bring their own blend of twists and turns to these songs. • • Take a look at their website to see where they're next gigging. • • http://www.smallworldband.moonfruit.com/
