You ever see a really cool product and think to yourself, “Why didn’t I think of that?” • Check out this quick attach trailer hitch for skid steers- there’s a couple different companies making these and I’ve wanted one for quite a while now. • This one is made by Lake Area Designs and it cost $165.00. • They’re actually kind of hard to find. The first brand I tried to buy was completely sold out. • This one is rated for up to a thousand pounds of tongue weight, so I thought I would load the Ventrac on my 6 x 12 landscape trailer and try moving it around. • Most jobsites are tight and awkward and my four-door pickup with an 8-foot bed is so long that it’s hard to back a trailer. • With a skid steer I can see exactly what I’m doing and easily move the trailer right to where I want it to go. • And what’s really cool, over rough terrain you can lift the skid steer arms up and down to adjust the tilt on the trailer, so it doesn't bottom out. • This is not a sponsored and I don’t have link to one of these, but if you can find one- I definitely recommend buying it. • The framers are making some good progress on the house and we’re hoping to have some update videos soon, so stay tuned, and thanks for watching! @hausplans • #build #howto #skidsteer #trailer #construction #diy #contractor
