Implementing a Next Generation Risk Assessment. • Safety Environmental Assurance Centre (SEAC) is a key part of the Unilever research and development organisation with responsibility to assure the safety and environmental sustainability of Unilever products, and the processes used to manufacture them. SEAC has a diverse range of scientific expertise that provides risk assessments for the consumer, occupational and environmental safety. • Over the past few years we have been involved in implementing new strategies for the safety assessment of new ingredients without testing in animals.
