PB-2000 specs and reviews: https://sub101.link/PB-2000 (affiliate link) • I have been talking about this sub as an example of what a great subwoofer should be, over a year before I actually heard one. It's reputation has been strong, the specs are right, and the graphs look good. So how did it stand up to my expectations? • Perfectly. • I was always afraid that I would finally hear them and end up being disappointed. That happens a lot in life. You expect things to be glorious and wonderful, but they just don't turn out. Thankfully, these did not leave me feeling a milligram of regret for my previous praise. • For a quality sub, the PB-2000's have a lot going for them. While not small by any reasonable measure, it's a more reasonably sized sub compared to many others on The List . • http://www.subwoofer101.com/best-subw... • I'll also say that they deliver bass in such a refined way for a ported sub that they would demolish any typical expectations of ported subwoofers. Very tight, and in a dual configuration they deliver every bit of bass you're supposed to hear with composure and confidence. Deeper than I can hear at 14 hertz measured in my room, they have no problem delivering the goods. • From Norah Jones to heavy pounding hardcore West Coast rap, the PB-2000's never let me down or ever hinted at strain. In movies they produce the realism always promised but rarely delivered in theaters, even most professional ones. Crushing, well composed bass, but only when it is supposed to be crushing. • These subs confidently remain my default recommendation. They are the Goldilocks sub in terms of power, performance, depth, and value. • ***** • Subwoofers should reproduce quality sound with authority throughout the humanly audible bass spectrum (20-100 hertz). Most do not. • Browse this channel and www.subwoofer101.com for layman's tech advice, product reviews, content reviews, and tips to make the most out of your setup. • It's OK to be new here, that's the whole point! Aside from this project, I am an industry outsider, so my perspective is from a consumer standpoint with an emphasis on value. • http://www.subwoofer101.com/best-subw... • I use affiliate links to support this channel and the website, but my opinions are 100% my own. The X2000 does not have them, I believe the X3200 does: http://shrsl.com/?~bngh • Provided on demo basis by SVS: • Towers: https://sub101.link/PrimeTower • Surrounds: https://sub101.link/Satellite • Center: https://sub101.link/PrimeCenter • Dual Ported Subwoofers: https://sub101.link/PB-2000 • Speaker wire: https://sub101.link/SP1SpeakerCable • Subwoofer cable: https://sub101.link/RCA • • LG 4K 3D that I replaced previous Vizio with a Square Trade type warranty.
