A competition format game for developing the cross-court game, this drill is for players who can rally and more commonly used for orange and green ball levels. • 1. Players form teams and start from the deuce sides of the court on the baseline • 2. Each player positions drop-down lines 1.5 meters from the center marker to create a forehand cross-court hitting area • • 3. One of the players starts the rally and only forehands are allowed • 4. The player who loses the point must move the drop-down line a racquet length closer to the singles line of the advantage side of the court. ( the other player will have a larger area to hit) • 5. The winner is the player who can make the opponent move the drop-down lines until it reaches the singles line. • Variation: • Play on the backhand side • If there are more than 2 players make it a team competition by alternating players between points. • Find this drill in our article 20 fun tennis drills and games for kids in 2020 here https://tennistokids.com/blog-post/20... • For hundreds of tennis drills and games for kids go to https://tennistokids.com/
