Happy 100th Birthday Pendennis Castle

Great Western Railway Castle Class locomotive no. 4079 Pendennis Castle is celebrating its 100th birthday this year. To mark the centenary celebrations in a dignified way, I decided to show you guys a celebratory video of Pendennis Castle to celebrate the famous milestone of this famous locomotive which inspired other famous steam locomotives such as Flying Scotsman and Mallard. This video features shots from last year of Pendennis Castle in fine form on the Severn Valley Railway and The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. Within that, there are facts about the locomotive's history, both in steam days and during her preservation life.
