This Ortho lab video demonstrates how to bend a Lingual Arch. Otherwise known in the Ortho world as (Arch Length Maintainer, Mandibular Holding Arch, and Bilateral Space Maintainer to name a few.) This appliance is more for an intermediate to advanced wire bender. It requires a lot of Patience and Practice to become efficient. If you are having a problem making everything symmetrical or what I like to refer as Balanced Start over and try again. • In this video I refer to a step down bend it is not necessary but, it helps make bending loops easier by getting away from teeth and tissue.
