Standing Wave on String Short Version

This is a short version of http://www.youtube.com/v/VmGWvuqFqxQ. High speed video plus measurements of waves on strings. The slow motion segments are 100 times slower. The string is red and white which shows up as pinkish dots in the slow motion video. The white is doing most of the reflection with a little red mixed in. I used a Casio EX-FS10 which, at 1000 fps, is only 64 pixels wide. Windows Movie Maker stretches this to the full screen height distorting the slow motion video making the wave displacement appear larger. Since it makes it easier to observe the wave motion I did not correct this distortion
