Today we're going to continue fabricating the storage box compartments that will be on each side of the hauler. We struggled fabricating the box itself but today we're going to start fabricating the framework for the doors. We're going to use angle iron and 3/4 square tubing for the framework • Merchandise is available online at www.hiltzautoco.com (and yes, we ship internationally!) 🌎 • The inspiration for this build is the 1930's Diamond T Texaco Doodlebug Tanker Truck. The Texaco Doodlebug (also called the Diamond T Doodlebug) was a futuristic American tanker truck of the 1930s. The vehicles were streamlined and highly aerodynamic. The overall shape, a flattened half-cylinder rounded at the front and tapered at the end, has been described as a pill or breadloaf . The passenger cabin was blended into the body, and there were no fenders, hood, cowl, or running boards. The windshield was compound curved glass, quite advanced for the time. It stood only 6 feet (1.8 m) tall, very short for a tanker truck then or since. • IF YOU ENJOYED WATCHING: • subscribe, leave a comment and hit the like button •    / badchad   • CHECK OUT OUR MERCHANDISE HERE: • https://www.hiltzautoco.com • FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA: •   / badchadcustoms   •   / badchadcustoms   •   / macintyrejn   •   / ___jolene   • MAILING ADDRESS: • Hiltz Auto Co. • RR3 • Canning, NS • B0P 1H0 • #badchad #fabrication #bumper #sheetmetal #diamondt #texaco #trucks #truck #hotrod #hotrods #cars #classiccars #badchadcustoms #rustrepair #car #carshow #hotrod #hotrodsandmusclecars #trucks #automobilerepairshops #rust #rustrepair #wheels #antiquecars #customtrucks #customcars
