The playing style used here is typically referred to as 2-Finger, Thumb Lead (Index Lead/Finger Lead/Mixed Lead). This style is traditional, and likely predates both the classic banjo Guitar Style and the minstrel Stroke Style. • This song hints at a variety of musical traditions. Glenn Weiser points out that the melody of Oh!
