Texas Archery Nilgai On the Hunt

In this episode Janis is hunting the thick-hided nilgai in south Texas, with Troy Fowler, a.k.a. the Ranch Fairy. The nilgai is a big, tough antelope that is known for “soaking up the lead.” Janis and Troy thought it would be the perfect animal for testing the efficacy of a heavy arrow set-up. The wary nilgai prove to be difficult to get within bow range, but luck eventually shines on the team, presenting a shot opportunity.
