In today's video I show a simple takedown for BJJ I've used several times in Jiu-jitsu competitions and plenty of times during rolls in the gym. • The takedown is also relatively safe as it doesn't require you to drop to your knee. I know this is something that worries many Brazilian Jiu-jitsu practitioners who aren't used to the movement or worry it will cause them to get sprawled on and smashed. It uses a front headlock to setup a basic high double leg takedown. • I also included a short clip from 1 of my BJJ matches so that you can see the technique and what it looks like during a competition match. • Hope you enjoyed the video! • Thanks for watching. • -Chewy • ----------------- • Free Ebook: https://www.chewjitsutraining.com/foc... • Want to ask Chewy a question: https://www.chewjitsutraining.com/que... • Video Courses and Products: http://www.chewjitsu.net/products • T shirts: http://www.chewjitsu.net/shop/ •   / chewjitsu   •   / chewjitsu   •   / chewjitsu   • Intro/Outtro Music : https://bknapp.bandcamp.com • If you’d ever like to train with the team and I.
