Andaron Saga is a Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones hack by Mangs some dedicated Fire Emblem enthusiasts. A heart gripping story and high octane gameplay awaits within. • To find out how to download play this hack, check out the following link: • • How To Play Andaron Saga • Baud's trying to get some sleep when Aylanda comes barging in and asks for him to get suited up and follow her. Seems a little strange, but Baud goes along with the plan as they travel to some kind of shrine that has certainly seen better days. • As Aylanda explains, it's an abandoned Lightbringer shrine, the likes of which was ordered to be torn down all across Andaron as Baud mentions. Aylanda kept coming to this particular shrine to maintain the aura around it as best she could. Thanks to the Timaet invasion of Silvermist though, she hasn't been able to do that for the past month. • The conversation then gets broken up by something attempting to attack Aylanda, but Baud puts that attempt on ice with Dawncaller. Nothing drastic changes if you don't have Dawncaller here besides some different dialogue. • One thing's for sure though...the whole purpose of the ancient shrines was to keep the monster levels in check. Bit of a problem if they've all fallen into disrepair like this one. • Aylanda though mentions a way to remedy this....find something called a Holy Symbol, then bring it to a small building in the northern part of the map to activate the shrine's aura and delete all the monsters. Seems simple, right? • Well, not quite. The secret lunatic objective is to beat it in under 40 turns. Not as easy as you may think since you're only working with two characters for this. • The main gimmick here is that the enemies have massive defense or massive resistance scores. The skeletal enemies have the big resistance scores while the spectral warriors that can pass through walls have 40 def. • Having Dawncaller for this map makes things much less stressful for you since Baud can terrorize a majority of the enemies, even the high res skellies. There's one spell slinging skeleton in the central building using anima magic, thusly having a weapon type advantage against light magic, on top of very high resistance. • The solution? The Holy Axe from the last chapter. Anything Baud can't easily cut through with Dawncaller, he'll be able to do it with that weapon. Try to conserve as many uses of it as you can for the next chapter though. • Much of Aylanda's contribution early on is to deal with any stray spectral skellies should Baud be busy. Failing that, keep him healthy with Physic. • Speaking of Aylanda...her bases are respectable and her growths for everything besides str res are amazing. As for her personal skill, it's Lightbringer, healing everyone within 2 spaces of her for 20% of his or her max hp at the start of the turn. Pretty damn nice I have to say! • To find the Holy Symbol, there's three staircases. End either character's turn on a staircase and they'll check down the stairs. The first staircase you explore gives either a Silver Blade (DC route) or a Light Brand (non-DC route). The second one will have the Holy Symbol. Both of these events also grant 50 exp. • As for the chests...southwest one has a Hammer, southeast has a Shine tome, and the northwest one a Divine tome. This tome does effective damage to terrors so Aylanda can help out much more effectively if Baud needs it. • This map's secret event is a Cyclops that spawns in the forests just north of the Divine chest. Baud can deal with it no problem, just requires a couple extra turns running through the forest. It'll drop a Bulk Band (+3 max hp when used) when defeated. • Finally...there's a few big unique events revolving around Dawncaller. The first one you'll see is early on with the weapon, granting a boosted vision range in the fog. • The second one revolves around a unit that shows up a few turns in, Zakarias. If you have Dawncaller, he's a green unit for a couple turns before he exits the map. Without Dawncaller though, he shows up as a blue unit you can control and, when you begin the next chapter, will show up again and can be fielded in future chapters from there. • The final one is in the central building. There's a pillar which Baud can investigate while having Dawncaller on hand to get +3 to mag res permanently. • As for the boss monster...Baud with the Holy Axe will tear it up, but make sure he has the Holy Symbol in his inventory since it grants crit immunity and the boss has a tome with a very high crit rate. • Once the boss is down, end turn on its throne to activate the aura and purge all the monsters. • The chapter ends as Aylanda shows one other thing the Lightbringer shrines can do...visions, past present viewing varieties. Baud sees a vision that might just suggest that maybe this whole Lightbringer war ages ago wasn't triggered by one of Ayla's own murdering this Maria fellow. • More next time!
