Here's a simple, fun little glider I made using a toilet paper tube, thin styrofoam from plates and assembled with white glue. It has a 9 1/2 wingspan and flies good with a little added nose weight ( I used a couple tiny machine screw nuts I found in my tool box ). Styrofoam was used for the wing and tail and I cut a strip from the second TP tube for the back section of the body.
