In this video I am making a wooden handle for the axe. • Wood I used for this project is a beech tree.I draw the rough lines of a handle simply by hand. For the rough cuts I used a jigsaw. Wood planer gave me the right thickness of the handle. For the closer shape I used an angle drill with a wood scraper. Final and smooth shape I got with my orbital sander. Top of the handle I processed with hand tools, chisel and hand wood file. Cut on the top for the wooden wedge, I made with a hand saw. I used anti rust agent for removing rust. Again I used an angle drill to remove rust and polish metal with angle flap discs for the better looks. A little more sanding with waterproof sandpaper. And for the final shiny looks I polished with polishing paste. I put wood glue to insure wooden wedge. Metal ring is used for even better insurance so the axe head couldn't fall off from the handle. Nacrtao sam grube linije od drške jednostavno rukom. Za grube rezove koristio sam ubodnu testeru. Dihtom sam dobio odgovarajuću debljinu ručke. Za bliži oblik koristio sam brusilicu sa rašpom za drvo. Knačan i uglačan izgled sam dobio vibracionom šmirglom. Vrh držalje sam obradio sa ručnim alatima, dletom i turpijom za drvo. Rez na vrhu za drvenu kajlu sam naparvio ručnom testerom. Koristio sam sredstvo antirost za ukljanjanje rđe. Ponovo sam koristio brusilicu za ulkanjanje rđe i polirao metal sa lamelastim diskom za bolji izgled. Za konačan i uglačan izgled polirao sam sa polir pastom. Premazao sam drvenu kajlu lepkom za drvo kako bih je osigurao. Metalni prsten sam koristio za još bolje osigranje kako glava sekire ne bi spala sa držalje.
