Holiday RV Park and Rainbow Point Campground are both great options for camping in West Yellowstone, both located on Lake Hegben in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. If you don't mind being outside of the park, I'd definitely recommend either of these campgrounds! • • 00:03 Holiday RV Park on Hegben Lake • 05:46 Maps both park Distance • 05:53 Rainbow Point Campground • 09:28 Cute Squirrel 🐿😁 • 10:15 List of Yellowstone CGs City • This visit was in June 2019. • HOLIDAY RV PARK is a beautiful campground right on Lake Hegben! • • Approx 10 mins from the city of West Yellowstone • • About 12 miles from Yellowstone’s West Entrance • • Open Memorial Day-end of September, weather permitting • • 36 large RV site w/full hookups, pull-through, with fire pits lots of grass, 16 cabins • • Rentals: fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards and 22’ pontoon boat • • Bathrooms and showers clean, and they provide clean bath mats! (towels) • • Small Laundry; 4 washers and 4 dryers (2 small rooms). They work on the honor system; just go to the office counter and pay. • • Basic general store with essentials coffee (not free) • • Cable TV, though it was out while we were there due to dispute between networks cable co mpany • • RAINBOW POINT CAMPGROUND is on the other side of Lake Hegben. • • No wifi but surprisingly we were able to get 9 channels with our antenna! • • No Hookups • • Vault toilets • • Road to the CG goes from paved, to gravel, then dirt. There were potholes but they weren’t too bad...until we got into the CG loop. Drive slowly! • • The lake is a short walk through the trees, and there are paths leading directly to the lake. At the shore there’s a small boat dock and pier. • • They have lots of serious signs about bears, but we didn’t encounter any, thankfully! • • THE TOWN OF WEST YELLOWSTONE • • Mountain Mama's Cafe on Madison Ave. is a great place for coffee (Starbucks!) and get a wifi! • • Right across the street is the Wild West Pizzeria and Saloon. The saloon side is separated (must be 21) but the main restaurant is very family friendly. • • PARKING in town with your RV is easy! Just park on N. Boundary Street, which is a cross street to Madison, very long, and close to everything. One side of the street is a foresty area so you’re not parking in front of any businesses, and it's super easy to park along the curb. This is assuming you are able to walk easily. • • Small grocery store on Madison, right next to the pizza place. Not surprisingly, it’s pretty expensive. Parking lot is small so even if you don’t have your rig, it’s easier to park on N. Boundary and walk the ½ block. • • There’s a small museum, not free. We didn’t visit. • • SOUVENIRS! You can really save a lot of money by shopping in the city instead of the parks. I got really nice water repellent, lined, reversible jacket with a hood and zipper pockets for $35! • Link to Furnace Repair Video: •    • Furnace Heater Repair Winnebago Micro...   • • 🌟If you enjoyed the video or it was helpful at all, please give a πŸ‘ and subscribe! I used VideoLeap to originally create my videos, paid for a subscription but still had copyright issues with YouTube, which forced me to remove the music. When replacing the music post-upload, the edits are not as clean as I would prefer.
