How to Replace a Pressure Balancing Unit

Begin by turning off the water supply and open the handle. Remove the handle assembly and then remove the cap and escutcheon. Remove the cartridge assembly by removing the securing screws. Gently remove the pressure balancing unit assembly from the wall and check the valve body for debris. Then, insert the new unit taking care to keep the o-rings in place.
