How I Use The Ordinary Peeling Solution For Hyperpigmentation Without Irritation

Working with the Ordinary Peeling Solution requires loads of hydration and a healthy skin barrier to prevent stinging and irritation. This is what my anti-hyperpigmentation routine looks like using the Ordinary's AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution as a weekly chemical peel. • This budget AHA BHA peeling solution doesn't sting or irritate my skin because my daily routine is heavily focused on hydration and skin barrier repair and I don't use any potentially irritating acids in my routine anymore. • I also make use of 1% hydrocortisone after using the Ordinary's chemical peel just to ward off any potential irritation. Depending on how my skin feels and looks after the peel, I sometimes use the hydrocortisone cream, 2 more times before I give it a rest. • To combat irritation from using a chemical peel on your face alone, one finger tip of 1% hydrocortisone cream should be enough. For face, ears and neck I use two finger tips: https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/hydrocor... • Over the counter 1% Hydrocortisone is the safest steroid that can be used on the face BUT don't make it a long term thing without doctor's supervision. • For hydration and barrier repair, I use Hidirose Daily Dew Hydrating Essence https://flutterwave.com/store/hidiros... and Eucerin Eczema Relief Cream https://amzn.to/3jn87XF • For lightening dark spots on a daily, I use the Hankali Group Color Correct Serum https://hankaligroup.com/product/colo... • Still on irritation, sun care is very important after using the Ordinary's 30% AHA Peeling Solution. Stay out of the sun after a chemical peel and avoid bare windows. If you can't do this, make sure to use a nice SPF50+ PA++++ sunscreen that you enjoy. Preferably a sunscreen that's super compatible with sensitive skin types. • Check out my list of sunscreens with zero white cast:    • Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen Review: Sat...   • If you're using tretinion, retin-a or any retinol/retinoid, it's advised not to use any chemical peeling solution unless you stop the retinoids for like 2 weeks and focus on strengthening your skin's moisture barrier within that period. Failure to do this will most likely wreck your skin barrier, lead to massive skin irritation and mad breakouts. • Hopefully with this video, you will learn how to do a safe chemical peel with the Ordinary's peeling solution at home as a newbie with minimal risk of irritation. This chemical peel routine should work for hyperpigmentation from excess sun exposure (sun tan) and post inflammatory conditions like acne. • Finally when dealing with hyperpigmentation, do please make sure you're targetting the 3 stages of Melanin production.
