But what those who dismiss fishing don’t know, is that when combined with cooking, these two professions have A LOT of powerful benefits. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get started with the two professions as a Blood Elf and Draenei, and then how to get from 300 fishing to 375. • • Blood Elves learn to fish from Drathen in Silvermoon City in the walk of Elders, then start heading over west towards the bazaar and when you enter the inn, go up the stairs and learn how to cook from Sylann. Then exit the city and directly south fish at Stillwhisper Pond. • Bristlewhisker catfish • Tarren mill for horde – Derak Nightfall • Southshore for alliance – Lindea Rabonne • Tanaris: Gikkix • Recipe: Spotted Yellowtail • Recipe: Poached Sunscale Salmon • Recipe: Nightfin Soup • Feathermoon: • Recipe: Baked Salmon • Booty Bay: Kelsey Yance • Filet of Redgill can be bought in the Port Authority of Booty Bay. • Alliance: Fish in Lake Elune’ara • Horde: Sheendra Tallgrass sells Baked Salmon Recipe • Horde: fish in the water south of camp mojache • Fish in zangar until 355 fishing skill, and at least 325 cooking skill. Then head to Terokkar Forest. At Stonebreaker Hold if you’re Horde you’ll find the recipe for Golden Fish Sticks and Spicy Crawdad from the Trade Goods vendor Rungor. If you’re Alliance you can get the same two recipes from Innkeeper Biribi at Allerian Stronghold in Terrokar Forest. • From there, you’ll want to fish the rivers in Terrokar Forest aiming to fish up golden darters. You can find them most frequently in the Schools of Darters, and Brackish Mixed Schools, but you don’t need to fish the pools. In fact it’s faster to just camp in a single spot and fish “open-waters” than to seek out pools while you’re leveling fishing. • Fish Terrokar until you are max fishing! Cooking the Golden Darters into Golden Fish Sticks should get you up to 360 cooking at which point you’ll need to learn two new recipes: • 1. Hot Buttered Trout and • 2.
