Thank you for watching! Although this iconic track made its debut in New Leaf, Bubblegum K.K. has made a name for itself as the unofficial theme of impromptu performances in New Horizons. But instead of the usual unwitting villagers, this particular rendition is being performed by the beloved Isabelle! And joining her are longtime favorite Ankha and series newcomer, Shino! • For this remix, I wanted to create something lighthearted that would sound cute and silly, yet elegant at times - I hope you find that it harnesses those qualities! (also, I relish any opportunity to use the cat-like synth heard at various points during the song) A major focus here was integrating auxiliary percussion into the mix, and I'm really happy with how that aspect turned out. A big thank-you to @DarlingJack for demonstrating time and time again how auxiliary percussion can really elevate the music to a new level!
