How to make a Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl

A poke bowl is a Hawaiian dish featuring marinated raw fish—typically tuna or salmon—served over rice and topped with ingredients like avocado, seaweed, and sesame seeds. It’s a fresh, customizable meal that blends flavours from Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine. • For my poke bowl, I used: • Sushi-grade yellowfin tuna, cubed • Soy sauce • Sesame oil • Quinoa (substitute with white or brown rice if you prefer) • Shaved raw carrots (with the carrot peeler) • Cucumbers, cubed • Red bell pepper, chopped • Edamame beans, shelled, cooked and lightly salted • Avocado, sliced • Sriracha mayo (1 to 3 ratio) • Green onion (scallions), chopped • Sesame seeds (YES, I forgot them in the video!!!) 😂 • Simply marinade the tuna in the soy sauce and sesame oil, cook the quinoa (let cool) and assemble!
