This is an essential maintenance requirement so that the dishwasher works trouble free. • The manual says that we check for residue after every wash cycle. But by practice one can arrive at the frequency of cleaning the filter oneself. I clean it once a week to ten days which is approximately 8 - 10 cycles. • Some of you may find my filter system not so dirty/soiled with much residue. This is because I've the habit of soaking my utensils before loading them in the dishwasher. This helps in removing most of the large solid residues even before loading. Finally what gets accumulated is the smaller and finer particles which are left as residue on the filter. • I am sure you will find this video useful.
