Besides its outstanding curb appeal, it also offers a solid level of road-readiness, carries a period correct engine under its hood and is clad in a high impact color that you just can't stop staring at. • A very well-applied burgundy paint job sits in place of the dark blue this 'Vette began life with and while we're certainly fans of classics wearing their original colors, the updated shade looks outstanding in this setting. You won't find any glaring issues to diminish your enthusiasm, and the rich hue looks impressively even from front to back. Corvettes of this era didn't sport a lot of chrome, which of course really allows the eye-catching color to take center stage, but the chrome that is on display here - the trim surrounding the front windshield, the rocker panel ornamentation and the badging - is all in good form.
