Carving, Pouring, and Finishing the Multi-Color Epoxy Inlay • More down here ↓↓↓ Click SHOW MORE! • In this video, I’ll demonstrate and discuss the processes I used to carve the pirate multi-color epoxy inlay in Vectric VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro, and Aspire. • First I’ll show you the modifications I made to the toolpaths and G-code. I’ll show you the Surfacing toolpath I created to surface the project after the last color pour has cured. I’ll also show you how I modified the Order of Operations I came up with, along with the Epoxy Pouring Schedule. • Out on the CNC router, I’ll show you how I mounted and indexed my work material on my Avid CNC router, and some of the things to watch out for along the way. Then I’ll demonstrate all 8 days of carving and pouring the various colors in this inlay, and how to avoid some mistakes.
