Perhaps one of the greatest bicycles of all time, the Trek Y bike made an impact in its brief years of production (1995-2001). Built with a radically advanced carbon composite frame called OCLV (Optimum Compaction Low Void), this bike was one of the first full suspension bike designs. Not for the faint of heart or those without deep pockets, this bike boasts an impressive unique design. To this day, the bike still gets attention and looks everywhere it goes. • This particular Y bike is a newly restored custom example completed in early 2010. The frame is nearly 20 years old, it was a first generation Y frame. The bike is accented with modern components such as a Shimano SLX drivetrain and crank, Michelin tires, Spin Wheels, alloy FSA stem and handlebar, Rock Shox Tora fork and Monarch 4.2 rear shock. All components were individually selected and collected over 2 years. The frame was stripped and repainted with PPG automotive paint. The color is Pepper Grey metallic, the same kind used on the Gone in 60 Seconds Shelby Mustang GT500E movie car. The bike is currently owned by Urban Shark Productions. • Film Credits: Urban Shark Productions. Please subscribe to our channel and show your support!!!
