#spain #caminodelnorte #prepping • The Camino del Norte, also known as the Northern Way, is the Camino de Santiago route taking pilgrims along the beautiful northern coast of Spain. • It starts in the city of Irún and passes through the Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias, and onto Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. • That’s a total distance of approximately 820 KM. It takes about 5-6 weeks to complete. • The Camino del Norte is the third most popular Camino route. It’s known for being challenging in terms of terrain and weather but I’m really looking forward to the adventure and many unforgettable memories. • Here's a quick overview of some of the gear I’m taking with me from Singapore: • Backpack (Osprey Kestral 48l.) • Trail Runners (Salomon XA Pro 3D GTX) + Darn Tough socks • Collaspable Trekking Poles (Decathlon) • Water Bottle + Straw (Decathlon) • Medication (I'm diabetic) • ¡Buen Camino!
