If you want to support us, you can contribute your contribution so that RJ Academy will continue to provide high-quality educational resources for free. • You can contribute through Paytm, Google Pay, or Phonepay. • Paytm number = 9053519385 • Google Pay = 9053519385 • PhonePay = 9053519385 • --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • We had discussed the official syllabus of the CSIR NET/JRF exam and discussed how exactly we will cover molecular spectroscopy on the youtube channel of RJ academy. • we already studied the fundamental requirements to interpret molecular spectra. • There are 3 basic conditions that have to be satisfied while studying spectra which are: • 1.) Bohr frequency condition • 2.) Selection rule • 3.) Population ratio • While studying rotational spectroscopy, we must know the elementary idea of the Moment of Inertia. So, we have learned that how can we calculate the moment of inertia for diatomic, linear triatomic molecule, tetrahedral, and octahedral molecule. • Till now, we learned that how can we classy the molecule on the basis of their symmetry. There are 4 types of Rotor molecule: • 1.) Spherical Top molecule • 2.) Asymmetric rotor molecule • 3.) Symmetric rotor molecule • 4.) Linear rotor molecule. • On the basis of the above classification and knowledge of Moment of inertia, we have studied the Bohr frequency condition, Selection rule, and Population Ratio for Rotational Spectroscopy. • Then we started the Vibrational spectroscopy and we studied the vibrational spectroscopy for both harmonic and anharmonic motions. We also studied that how can we calculate the Dissociation energy of a Diatomic molecule from Vibration spectra. • Then we started studying the mixture of Rotational and Vibrational spectroscopy that is known as Ro-Vibrational Spectroscopy or Ro-vibration Spectra, and we derived the energy expression for the R and P branches in Ro-vibrational Spectra. • Also, we have studied the Ro-Vibrational spectroscopy when the interactions between Rotational energy levels and Vibrational energy levels are taken into account. And we had seen the effect on the R and P branches in Ro-Vibrational Spectra due to Rotation-Vibration coupling. • Then we started a new Spectroscopy which is Raman spectroscopy and in the last lecture we discuss the basics of Raman Spectroscopy and also some other theories which were used by C.V. Raman to give its Nobel Prize-Winning theory that are: • 1) Smekel Prediction • 2) Rayleigh Experiment • 3) Compton Experiment • 4) Photoelectric Effect • Then we classified the Raman spectroscopy as: • 1) Rotation Raman Spectroscopy • 2) Vibration Raman Spectroscopy • We have discussed the selection rule for Rotation Raman spectroscopy and Bohr frequency condition in the previous lectures and we have studied about Stokes and Anti-stokes line in the Rotation Raman Spectra. • #CSIRNET • #GATE • #IITJAM • #IITJEE • #JEEAdvanced • #NEET • #DailyFreeLiveClasses • --------------------------------------- • line missing in rotation raman spectra, rotational raman spectroscopy, rotation raman spectroscopy of homonuclear diatomic molecule, diatomic molecule rotation raman spectroscopy, line missing in raman spectroscopy, line missing rotation raman spectroscopy, rotation raman spectroscopy csir net, csir net rotation raman spectroscopy, pure rotational raman spectra of linear molecules, rotational raman spectra for linear molecules, rotational raman spectra, rotational raman spectrum • ------------------------------------ • Thanks for watching • Do Subscribe, like, and comment • DISCLAIMER: • Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, the allowance was made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
