In this video i demonstrate how IIS Bindings allow IIS to display more than one site per server. Bindings are also known as HTTP headings. it is the URI used to locate the site. By default the www.mikster22.co.uk domain loaded the default site. this was because although i had set the name servers up to point to the web server (in both A and CNAME Records) IIS Bindings were not set up for the WWW subsite. When i added the WWW subsite to the IIS7 and loaded www.mikster22.co.uk the mikster22 site loaded. • At one point the www.mikster22.co.uk appeared to be in the bindings, this is because i have multiple IIS Servers serving the same domain (note it was running IIS 8). This is to offer redundancy, and is demonstrated in my other video • DNS web testing
