However, it looks like the cloaked figure is from the Sacred Guard. • 13:49 Banter w/Hikari: Battle with the Church • 14:18 Banter w/Castti: Temenos's Nemesis • 14:49 Stormhail • Vados's co-conspirators already killed him. • Crick is still put off by Temenos's doubt of both people and gods. Crick grew up in a greedy aristocratic household, making him desire something good to believe in. But now the organization he devoted himself to is revealed to be corrupt. • Crick goes off to investigate by himself and discovers that the Book of the Night was from the Sacred Guard HQ, but the next day, we see his corpse. • You have to guide Crick's phantom to retrace his steps, revealing a hidden section of the HQ. • 31:45 Forbidden Shrine • Turns out Kaldena and Cubaryi are the ones who killed Vados and Crick. • 37:10 Boss: Deputy Cubaryi • 42:45 Pursuing Kaldena • We have to find her at the Nameless Village. • 47:11 Banter w/Throné • 47:46 Hikari Chapter 4 • Mugen doesn't think much of Hikari organizing a rebellion and is also a classist jerk. • 49:24 Banter w/Temenos: Clan Ku and Clan Mei • 50:18 Stormhail • Kunzo won't let us meet Lady Rai Mei. • 51:04 Miniboss: Kunzo • 53:31 Betrayal • Rai Mei chooses to side with Mugen so that her clan will be spared. Her lightning attack destroys the bridge and sends Hikari plummeting to under the bridge. • 55:40 Flashback • We get a flashback of when Hikari met the Mei clan. Unfortunately, a group of bandits killed his mother, causing Hikari to succumb to the curse. • 1:09:38 Castle Mei • Hikari is locked in a cell, and he'll be executed soon. • 1:13:26 Flashback • Turns out Jin Mei ordered the bandits to do this because of Mugen's threats. He can't bring himself to finish off Hikari, so he reports his failure and lets Mugen kill him.
