This product diffuses into the air to inhibit the growth hormones produced in the pests. Gentrol controls many different species of insects, but it’s most commonly used to control cockroaches and stored product pests. • While Gentrol Point Source can be used by itself to control insects, it does not affect adult pests. This product is specifically designed to prevent egg and larval stages from maturing, and while it will not kill adult pests, it will make them sterile. • When you are ready to apply, press down in the center of the cylinder on the bottom of the disk until you hear a pop. This means that the chemical has been released and will diffuse into the paper of the disk, and is ready to apply. • You can place the disks horizontally or vertically, but be sure to keep it at least 3 feet away from exposed food. Use the included adhesive strips to keep the disks in position, and ensure that it is out of reach of children and pets. If there is heavy pest activity it may be necessary to use multiple disks and focus them in the areas where the pest activity is heaviest.
