Hello there! Welcome to this Longplay of Rayman for the PlayStation 1. It's a side-scrolling platformer with stunning visuals and an amazing soundtrack. We play the gamed from from to back with a smidge of cheats and passwords. • #rayman #ps1 #longplay • This is the point where I like to talk a little about why I like this game. As per usual if you have a story about why you like this game please leave it in the comments below. I would love to read about it. I remember first playing this game when it was released for the GameBoy Advance and I had a lot of fun with it. Then a while ago I picked up this version for the PS1. Then I decided to record it for this channel and oh my goodness. WHY IS THIS GAME SO HARD! I don't know who they thought could beat this game with so few lives and continues. This game is meant to be a trial and error game. You're gonna spend up to 20 minutes on some parts. And in this regards you don't want to be wasting your lives. Hence why I used the infinite lives and power up cheat. Sadly it does not help much when it comes to the platforming sections. Which in case you didn't know is the entire game. Honestly that was not the worst part. Walking around the map to try to get to the final boss once you've beaten every level and realizing you have to 100% complete the game to get to the final boss is such a slap in the face. Considering how hard the game already is, and how obtuse some of the electoon cages are to find. I'm really glad they made the games a lot better as time went on. There are a lot of really cool takeaways from this game that i actually really do like a lot. And as much as Rayman 2 is a pain in the butt, games like that walked so games like Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends could run. If you're looking for a fun casual early Rayman game this game could be what you're looking for. Just remember to take brakes and don't fatigue yourself. This game can drain your energy and patience quickly. • Thank you so much for watching and putting up with my terrible playing. I hope that the video was at least somewhat enjoyable and that you had a good time. It's always a pleasure to play new games and have new people tune in from every walk of life. And here: we love having you. So thank you again. Until we meet again next time. See you in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
