In the previous video, we learned about what a balance sheet is and how to analyze it. In this video, we look at the cash flow statement. By looking at a cash flow statement, you can quickly figure out what a company is doing with the cash that it generates. You can classify all the activities of a company under 3 broad headers: Operational activities, investing activities, and financing activities. These three activities make up a cash flow statement.
