After months of displacement, Palestinian mother Aya Zurob finds herself living near the remains of her once-vibrant home in Khan Younis. • Sleeping under a makeshift tent near the rubble of her home, Zurob, who is a 32-year-old mother of 7, says they have been living in constant ‘terror and fear.’ • My children used to sleep in a room, life was good. Now, their life is destroyed. They come to their mother and father to get some tenderness, saying 'mama I'm scared, I'm scared'. I tell them not to get scared. How can I protect my son from fear? My son is hungry, how can I feed him? There is no food, no water, no money,” she said. • In the face of adversity, Zoorob embodies resilience.
