Acer Predator Helios 300 With Unlocked BIOS Settings

These are all the unlocked settings on an Acer Helios 300 laptop with InsydeH2O UEFI firmware. Providing instructions as to how to do this isn't trivial, and involves using a hardware SPI programmer to dump the BIOS from the chip on the laptop's motherboard, modifying it to unlock the settings, and then flashing it back over the hardware programmer; this requires its own video and explanation. This video is meant to show the settings, and isn't a guide to perform the BIOS settings unlock. • • Thread: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Threa... • • I specifically used a Raspberry Pi with a Pomona 5250 SOIC8 clip to dump and reflash the BIOS chip with flashrom, and this has worked on 3 different Helios 300 laptops (Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake). I mainly wanted to be able to disable Hyper-threading and legacy USB support.
